Cybertek Dynamics (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the GeoRecall mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our App.
At GeoRecall, we take your privacy seriously. Our primary goal is to provide you with a secure, private way to save and recall locations without compromising your personal data.
1. Information We Collect and How We Use It
Location Data
To provide the core functionality of GeoRecall (saving and finding your current location), the App requires access to your device’s location services.

Precision: We use high-accuracy GPS and network-based location data to log your precise coordinates.

Background Location: If enabled, the App requests background location access. This is used strictly to allow the application to continue polling for a high-accuracy GPS lock to complete a “Save Current Location” action, even if you navigate away from the app, lock your screen, or place your device in your pocket.

Privacy First: By default, location data is stored locally on your device in a secure, encrypted database. We do not transmit, track, or store your location history on our external servers.
User-Provided Information
When you save a location, you may optionally provide:

This information is processed and stored exclusively on your local device and is never uploaded to our servers.
Payment Information
We offer premium upgrades via Google Play Billing. All transactions are securely processed directly by Google. We do not collect, view, or store your credit card numbers or billing addresses. We only receive a secure confirmation token from Google that a purchase was successful to unlock your premium features.
Device Information
We may collect basic, non-identifying technical data about your device (such as the hardware model and OS version) to improve app performance, ensure proper layout scaling, and troubleshoot system crashes.
2. Data Storage and Security
Local Encryption
GeoRecall uses a secure, local database structure protected by industry-standard encryption directly on your physical hardware.
Data Retention and Purging

Free Tier: To optimize system resources and local storage on your device, location data older than 90 days may be automatically purged for users utilizing the free tier.

Premium Tier: Premium lifetime users receive permanent storage with no automatic local purging of their saved coordinates.
Data Ownership
You retain absolute ownership of your data. Because your history resides entirely on your device, we cannot access, retrieve, or restore your saved locations if your device is lost or factory reset. You can export your data at any time via the “Export to CSV” feature in the App settings.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
User-Initiated Sharing
The App allows you to manually export or share specific coordinates with others (e.g., via SMS, Email, or communication apps). This data transfer is entirely under your manual control and is only initiated when you explicitly interact with the “Share” feature.
Third-Party Services
The App utilizes the following third-party infrastructure services to render core features:

Google Play Services: Used for structural location accuracy, maps, and secure checkout processing.

4. Permissions
To function correctly, the App requests the following device permissions:

Location (Fine/Coarse/Background): Required to target, verify, and log coordinates.

Internet: Required for loading map tile visuals, geocoding addresses, and authenticating secure purchases.

Notifications: Required for system service status updates.

Biometric/Fingerprint: Used for the optional “Vault Lock” feature to secure your local database behind your device’s native hardware authentication framework.
5. Children’s Privacy
GeoRecall does not address anyone under the age of 13. Because all data is maintained locally on the user’s physical device, we do not knowingly collect, solicit, or store personally identifiable information from children under 13.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the revised text on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date above.
