1. Introduction

Bill Trackr (the "App"), developed by CyberTek Dynamics, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data, our "Local-First" storage philosophy, and how we comply with Google Play's Data Safety requirements.

2. Core Privacy Philosophy

• Local-First Storage: Unlike traditional financial apps, Bill Trackr does not store your financial records on external servers.

  • All financial data, including bill names, amounts, categories, and due dates, are stored in a secure, local SQLite database residing solely on your mobile device.

  • Receipt and invoice images captured through the App are stored in your device's protected internal storage.

  • CyberTek Dynamics does not have access to, nor do we collect, your specific financial transactions.

3. Information We Collect and Use

• Personal and Financial Data: The App processes financial information that you manually enter. This data remains on your device and is used only to provide the App's core functionality, such as bill reminders and spending analytics.

• In-App Purchases: We use the Google Play Billing Library to manage Premium subscriptions and lifetime upgrades.

  • Transactions are processed entirely by Google Play.

  • We do not see, process, or store your credit card numbers or bank account details.

  • We only receive a "Purchase Token" to verify your access to Premium features.

• Advertising (Non-Premium Users): To provide a free version of the App, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements.

  • AdMob may collect and use the Android Advertising ID to personalize ads and for analytics.

  • You can manage your ad preferences or opt-out of personalized ads via your Android device settings.

  • Premium users experience an ad-free environment where no advertising identifiers are processed.
    

4. Device Permissions

To provide its services, Bill Trackr requires the following permissions:

• Camera: Used exclusively for the "Receipt & Invoice Scanning" feature. Images are processed locally using on-device ML Kit technology.

• Notifications: Used to send you automated reminders for upcoming or overdue bills.

• Biometrics: If enabled in Settings, the App uses Android's BiometricPrompt API to secure access. Your biometric data (fingerprints or face scans) is handled by the operating system and is never accessible to the App.
  

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Our priority is technical integrity. We process data only as necessary to:

• Maintain and secure our digital infrastructure.

• Deliver the Strategy & Blueprint or Full-Stack Project services you have requested.

• Respond to inquiries and provide technical support.

• Comply with legal obligations and security audits.

6. Security Standards

We do not sell or trade your data. We do not share your financial information with any third parties because we do not collect it on our own servers. We only interact with:

• Google Play Services (for App updates and Billing).

• Google AdMob (for free version ad delivery).

• Google User Messaging Platform (to manage your privacy and consent choices).

7. User Control, Retention, and Deletion

• On-Device Deletion: You can delete individual bills or use the "Delete All Data" feature in the Settings menu to wipe your local database.

• App Uninstallation: Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage through Android settings will permanently delete all your financial records and receipt images.

• Data Export: You may use the Excel Export feature to create a backup of your data. This file is handled by you and should be stored securely.
  

8. User Control, Retention, and Deletion

• Machine Learning & OCR Data: Bill Trackr utilizes Google ML Kit for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to scan receipts. This process happens entirely on your local device. Images and the text extracted from them are not uploaded to our servers or sent to Google for processing.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our App or legal requirements. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
